Communicative Grammar

Communicative Grammar Course Description

This course will help students develop and improve their basic grammar skills in natural settings. In this course students will learn what grammar to use in what real life situations. Students will use Role Plays on a regular basis; this method will be used along with other communicative methods such as surveys and debates. This elective course is open to students whose English level is rated at Level 2 or Level 3.

Communicative Grammar Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

1. Improve their grammatical accuracy while speaking and writing.
2. Improve their listening and reading skills, recognizing grammatical subtleties involving time and place.
 

Communicative Grammar Course Components

1. Class Participation: Try your best to come to all your classes and participate in them.
2. Quizzes: Your teacher will administer mini-tests to track your progress.
3. Small Projects: Your teacher may give you small individual or group assignments and homework.
